Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to
deliver exceptional service and underwriting decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite new loan files according to departmental standards and
timelines
Review and manage conditions for funding and resubmissions
promptly
Utilize the company's operating system to communicate underwriting
decisions and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications
5 years of recent experience underwriting residential home loans
for a retail lender
Must possess DE or LAPP/SAR certification, with both highly
preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Conventional loan program guidelines and
automated underwriting engines
Ability to train and support staff in preparing loan files for
approval consideration
Solid time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple
tasks effectively
