Registered Nurse position available in Stepdown PCU at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, with full-time day shift schedule and competitive benefits package.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in our Stepdown PCU, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will work collaboratively with a registered nurse to assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs, and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs.
  
• Communicate pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  
• Assist with documentation and implementation of physician and nursing orders under the direction of the registered nurse preceptor.
  
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicating and recording changes in patient condition as appropriate.
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
    
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Florida Board of Nursing required.
    
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
