**Job Summary:**
Florida Chapter 397 qualified professional or Florida license-eligible psychotherapist needed for substance use disorders and family treatment team.

**Job Description:**

As a member of the FRC interdisciplinary team, you will specialize in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with substance use disorders and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing a caseload of patients, including initial and ongoing assessment of clinical needs
* Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
* Facilitating patient and family engagement strategies
* Anticipating and preventing early withdrawal from treatment
* Fostering good long-term recovery outcomes through continuity-of-care, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, level 1 outpatient, Phase 4, sober living, and community-based mutual-help fellowships
* Initiating, facilitating, and managing communication with referral source professionals and other collateral professionals involved in assigned cases
* Performing effectively as an individual, group, and family therapist under clinical supervision
* Developing and providing therapeutic and educational activities utilizing individual, family, and group modalities
* Providing on-call coverage on a rotating basis with other therapists
* Ensuring patient's rights are protected, including HIPPA and CFR 42 confidentiality
* Writing and sending high-quality and timely reports to collateral professionals as authorized by the patient
* Developing and implementing comprehensive discharge plans/continuity of care plans in concert with FRC treatment team and collateral professional
* Documenting patient care in accordance with Joint Commission, ASAM, and hospital standards

**Qualifications:**

* Masters or Ph.D. in clinical social work, rehabilitation counseling, counselor education, addiction counseling, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or other CACREP or CSWE accredited Graduate Degree required
* Minimum of 1 year of clinically supervised experience required, with preference in substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders
* Supervised clinical internship during graduate school qualifies toward the one year, no postgraduate experience required for Therapist 1
* Bachelor's degree and CAP (Certified Addiction Counselor) with 5 years of clinically supervised experience may be substituted for CACREP or CSWE accredited Graduate degree
* Recovering professionals must have minimum of three years of continuous sobriety immediately preceding and concurrent with hire date
* Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'
* Licensure/Certification/Registration: Florida license eligible as a mental health counselor, clinical social worker, clinical psychologist, or marriage and family therapist. Addiction Certification (CAC or CAP) preferred. CAP required with no Graduate Degree.
